ne of the oldest fishing

New Arrow Flash Dodger and Spinners From Poulsen Cascade Tackle
action and tremendous flash, even
at very slow speeds. The Arrow
Flash works well from .8 mph to 1.4
mph, and is built from solid brass
or copper. It is available in 5 ¼ inch
and 6 ½ inch lengths and over 40 color
combinations. It is perfect for using
with hoochies and kokanee bugs, giving
them a ton of action at a slow speed.
The new Arrow Spin BV Micro uses a
very small Bear Valley spinner blade that
seems to attract kokanee more than larger
spinner blades. They are available in
two sizes, and use all quality components
including Maxima leader and VMC Red
hooks. They are available in 20 colors
developed expressly for kokanee fishing.
At Stampede, we started trolling right out
from the boat launch and headed towards
the mouth of the Little Truckee river. We
saw marks all over the graph, from 25 to
50 feet down. My buddy Gary put out his
favorite dodger/hoochie combination, and
I started with the Arrow Flash dodger in
brass with a glow insert and an orange BV
Micro spinner with a gold blade. We both
caught kokes that day, but the Arrow
Flash combo out fished the others at
least 2 to 1. At one-point Gary said,
“How come all the fish are coming on
your side of the boat?” When the sun
came out I changed the Arrow Flash
dodge to Silver with UV blue wings, but
kept the orange/gold spinner on because
it kept catching fish! I suggest that all
ardent kokanee fishermen try a couple
