On June 17th , Captain Michael Rescino , Lovely Martha , reported 20 limits of halibut ( 60 ) and 13 striped bass for a group out of Travis Air Force Base . On June 16th , Captain Michael reported , “ another outstanding day on the bay ! We finished up with 14 limits ( 42 ) halibut & 1 delicious bass by 10:35am !” James Smith of California Dawn Sportfishing reported on June 16th , “ what an epic year ! 24 limits of halibut ( 74 ) and even a crew fish on the reel up !” On June 15th , Captain James reported , “ 2 fish per rod with a combined score between the California Dawn 1 and California Dawn 2 , 60 halibut to 31 pounds and 21 striped bass
