ittle ’ s Outdoor Sports in downtown Colusa is once again hosting the 2022 California Duck Calling Championship and Butte Sink Regional Championship on August 27 and 28 at the Veterans Memonial Park in Colusa .
The calling contest will give the competitors an opportunity to compete for an invitation to the World Duck Calling Championship in Stuttgart , Arkansas . This event will start at 9 am on Saturday August 27 and run through 2:30 pm on Sunday August 28 . Kittle ’ s is also having the Largest Waterfowl Sale in the West in
conjunction with the
Calling Championship . They will be featuring fantastic prices and selection on hundreds of waterfowling products , including many you won ’ t be able to find anywhere else . The will have a

Trisha Kleinline and Andrew Marlan were on a quick trip from South Dakota and decided to fish the ocean with the California Dawn . This was the first trip for Trisha on the ocean and only the second for Andrew . You can by their big smiles that they had a phenomenal day on the ocean . Trisha was a quick learner and by the end of the day she was putting on a clinic on how to catch rockfish . It was an amazing day that included great fishing and lifelong memories .
