Nick Smith , Informative Fisherman , was fishing the San Joaquin River of the California Delta when he landed these two beautiful bass while punching with a STIX Power STIK rod , a Yamamoto Flappin Hog on a 4 / 0 BKK Flippin hook , a 2oz weight , and 80lb braid . Nick has also had recent success while using a Savage Gear Shine Glide 185 . This bait has not only put chunky bass in the boat but also some big striped bass .
