The NorCal Trout Angler ’ s Challenge kicked off the 2024 season at San Pablo Reservoir on Jan . 3 with a big turnout and excellent fishing . A total of 172 anglers participated in the event . The grandfather-grandson team of Dan De Leon of Hercules and Alexander Vasquez show off the rainbow and lightning trout that they landed at the East Bay reservoir while fishing firetiger PowerBait .
