In November we switched gears to crab / rockfish combos and we scored limits on every trip out .” “ As for a little bit of an update , we will be painting the decks next week and preparing for our topside Coast Guard Inspection ,” reported Erik Anfinson , Captain of the Bass Tub . “ Aaron and I have discussed the schedule a little bit . We are going to be holding off for another week or two before we post up the summer schedule . We will be starting our trips scouting around for halibut and bass ,, hopefully the first week of March . If we do get a salmon season , I would like to have the opportunity to take advantage of it .” Boats out of Fish Emeryville have been booking crab only trips . The latest trip by the Playn Hooky produced 60 Dungeness Crab for 6 anglers . They also ended up with 20 Rock Crab .

MONTEREY- The waters of Monterey Bay are quiet as captains and anglers get ready for the upcoming rockfish and lingcod seasons . The anglers getting out between storms are fishing for sanddabs , crabs and petrale sole with decent success .
