The Lovely Martha is off to a good start to their San Francisco Bay halibut season . Last year the Lovely Martha put up phenomenal numbers and this year is expected to be the same .

petrale sole , reported Ken Stagnaro Anglers averaged 20 sanddabs per rod . Anglers are hooking the flatfish on Tom ’ s Jigs and small squid strips . Chris ’ Fishing Trips is now booking sanddab / petrale sole and crab combo trips now through April 30 . The Checkmate checked in with “ lots of sanddabs ” and 20 sole for 17 anglers on its most recent trip . The boat also reported “ lots of sanddabs ” and “ lots of mackerel ” for 11 anglers on a previous trip .
