FOLSOM LAKE … Landlocked king
4 . salmon are active and biting at Folsom Lake . Trolling is most productive , but bank anglers are hooking fish while using minnows , inflated nightcrawlers and PowerBait .

8 . remains strong and the striped bass have shown up . Fishing should be great on the Delta for the next few months .

9 . caught and the bite should be great in the month of April for crappie , trout , and landlocked kings .
COLLINS LAKE … Trout plants
10 . began in Oct . 2023 and are regularly scheduled until the beginning of May . Fishing has been great for both bank anglers and trollers .
AMEICAN RIVER … Patient anglers
11 . are landing steelhead while using spoons , spinners , and roe . The fish have ranged from 3-10 lbs .
PYRAMID LAKE … Recent storms
12 . have made the Lahontan Cutthroat a little more elusive but consistent fishing along the beaches are on the horizon . The best baits will be midges , leeches , beetles , and stripping buggers .
