Shallow Glass Lures: Hand Blown Glass Lures For Trout, Kokanee & Salmon B rothers Sam and Christo- pher Shallow grew up in Vermont fishing and loving the outdoors. In 2002, the Shallow brothers learned the art of blowing glass. When they moved to Cali- fornia to pursue a career in glass blowing, Sam had a great idea of combining their two passions, Fishing and Glassblowing, Creating Shallow Glass Lures. Why Glass? Well, that’s easy, it’s strong and its bright. The type of Glass we use is a very strong hard glass called borosilicate. It’s an American made, Pyrex glass from Corning, NY along with a few other companies from the Northwest. The Reflection and refraction of the light through the glass puts off a very bright, attractive shine to lure the fish in. The color will not dull or fade overtime and won’t chip away as competitor lures. We also use a highly reflective material called Dichroic Glass that is a fine metallic layer between the glass. Very Vibrant! Shallow Glass offers a full line of traditional spinners and snelled spinners that utilize hand made glass beads. The Shallow Glass line up features lures designed specifically for river salmon, kokanee, trout and Pyramid Lake. For more information check Shallow Glass Lures out on line at www.shallow- glasslures.com. In Auburn, Ca. Will Fish Tackle is a proud retailer of Shallow Glass Lures.
