HOT BITES...
1.
DELTA STRIPERS… Stripers are on a solid bite
from Pittsburg to Rio Vista. Trollers pull Yo-Zuris
while bait anglers soak shad and mudsuckers.
2.
BODEGA ROCKFISH… The coastal rockfish
action is excellent. White shrimp flies teamed
with squid strips produce rockfish, while jigs tempt
lings.
3.
FOLSOM SALMON… Anglers are catching
king salmon to 26 inches. Troll hoochies, rigged
shad or Speedy Shiners in the main body 40 to 75
feet deep.
4.
FRENCH MEADOWS BROWNS… Brown trout
are on a great fall bite. For fish to 20 inches troll
small Rapalas or soak inflated ‘crawlers off the bank.
GOOD BETS...

SUISUN BAY STURGEON… Sturgeon are
holding and feeding in deep water areas.
Fresh salmon roe is the top bait, but you’ll want eel
and pile worms too.

SAC RIVER SALMON… Most of the fish
being caught are chromers that range up
to 30 lb. Cured roe and T-55 Flatfish are the top
tempters.

LEWISTON TROUT … Lewiston is booting
out holdover rainbows. PowerBait, night
crawlers and roe are tempting trout that measure
up to 22 inches.

GOLDEN GATE BOTTOMFISH… The Marin
County coast is giving up limits of rockfish
and lingcod. Shrimp flies and Gulp! soft plastics
baits well.
SLEEPERS...
9.
COLLINS LAKE TROUT… Fall trout fishing is
underway and both trollers and bank anglers
are hooking. PowerBait works from shore, while
trollers pull Kastmasters.
10.
HAT CREEK TROUT… The stream trout
season is in its final days. To hook a limit drift
orange salmon eggs, crickets and night crawlers.
11.
LAKE DEL VALLE TROUT… Trout planting
is underway and bank anglers are hooking
up. PowerBait, Zeke’s Sierra Gold and inflated night
crawlers are all working.
12.
PYRAMID ‘CUTTS … Anglers continue to
bang big trout while trolling. Flatfish, Apex
Lures and large spoon in green and orange color
patterns are getting hit.

Steelheading will get started on the Smith
in December and peak in January depending on
the conditions. Roe will produce trophies.
