cont.
4,000 pounds on Thursday and 4,000
pounds on Friday of the Memorial Day
weekend.
To date, 64,400 pounds total have been
planted in the lake since the season began,
according to Aaron Zanze of Pardee Lake
Recreation.
Shore anglers should head to Stony
Creek Landing, where nightcrawlers, Power
Bait and spoons are all producing hard-
fighting rainbows.
Trollers are also picking up trout.
Giuseppe and Rosa Camaniti from
Sacramento landed five rainbows while
trolling nightcrawlers behind large silver
dodgers near Stony Creek Landing.
Kokanee salmon fishing is going strong.
Trollers are nailing kokanee while using
silver or gold Apex lures, spinners and
hoochies, tipped with white corn, from 10 to
25 feet deep.
Nathan, Cynthia and Natey Leonard
caught limits of kokanee, ranging from 12 to
15.75 inches, while trolling homemade pink
and orange spinners at 12 to 32 feet deep
over the weekend. They also landed six
bonus rainbows.
Pardee is 101 percent of capacity. More
information: (209) 772-1472.

“The water up there is still coming
down strong especially during the
outgoing tide. Roe and eel are both
working,” he tipped.
Anglers in search of striped bass
continued to troll the San Joaquin
River.
“Prisoner’s Point downstream
to San Andreas Shoals is going to
be the best area to either deep or
slow troll. Bait guys really haven’t
been out with the winds being high,”
Kamikawa said.

mostly trout being caught with
