BULLARDS BAR KOKANEE Limit style kokanee trolling has exploded at Bullards. The salmon are running 10 to 12 inches and can be caught on spinners or hoochies down to 60 feet deep. 3. LAKE PARDEE MIXED BAG Both rainbow trout and kokanee are rewarding trollers. Spinner hoochies, standard hoochies and spinners in pink, orange and green work for both species. 4. AMADOR POTLUCK It’s the trout bite with limits and near limits being landed by trollers and bankies that make the headlines. Yet, bass, catfish and panfish are on the chomp too! 11. UMPQUA SPRINGERS Springers are navigating their way up the Umpqua and lucky anglers are scoring fish to 35 lbs. Spinners teamed with rigged bait are the best offering. LAKE CHABOT CATS With trout fishing destined to wind down, catfish action should pick up with the next shot or two of hot weather. Mackerel, liver and night crawlers are the best baits for whiskerfish. 14. AMERICAN RIVER STRIPERS July is one of the best times to hook massive trophy stripers in the American.
