“When I am
fishing a frog or
flipping matted
vegetation, I
am throwing the
new X-TCB 8
Carrier Braided
Line form P-Line.
It is critical to
be stealthy with
both techniques,
and with P-line’s
new braid, you
can make longer
casts and it is
ultra quiet com-
ing through the
grass.”

minnows and ‘crawlers are producing channel
cats to 9 lbs. The dam, river channel and eastern
shore are good bets at dawn and dusk.
8.
ROGUE RIVER CHINOOK… Salmon are
massing outside the Rogue and push into the
lower end of the river on incoming tides. Anglers
pull spinners and anchovies for kings to 30 lbs.
SLEEPERS...
9.
BEAR RIVER FLY ACTION… For a mix
of wild browns and rainbows fly guys are
hitting the Bear below Rollins Reservoir. Yellow
parachutes, yellow humpys and elk hair caddis
work well in the evening.
10.
Trollers that make the trip down to Bridgeport
Reservoir are nailing quality rainbows and
browns. Tasmanian Devils, Rapalas and Needlefish
are all working.
11.
BODEGA LINGCOD…. Jiggers and bait
moochers are landing limits and near limits
of lingcod to 22 lbs. Frozen mackerel are the top
performing natural bait, while Ahi diamond jigs in 10
and 12 ounce sizes produce for lure anglers.
