GO FOR IT!
Sept. 29 - Oct. 13, 2017
“When I am
fishing a frog or
flipping matted
vegetation, I
am throwing the
new X-TCB 8
Carrier Braided
Line form P-Line.
It is critical to
be stealthy with
both techniques,
and with P-line’s
new braid, you
can make longer
casts and it is
ultra quiet com-
ing through the
grass.”

HOT BITES...
1.
FEATHER RIVER KINGS… Salmon to 30
lbs are being caught and limits are the rule.
Flatfish work early, roe works well later in the day.
2.
SHASTA ‘BOWS… Anglers are enjoying
fantastic rainbow trout action. The fish are
holding 70 to 90 feet deep and jump all over shad
pattern lures.
3.
S.F. TROPHY KINGS… Anglers interested
in quality size fish are hooking salmon that
weigh as much as 35 lbs. Trolling rigged bait is the
best approach.
4.
NEW MELONES ‘BOWS … Trollers are
hammering rainbows to 6 lbs. The trout are
feeding heavily on shad, so shad pattern spoons
are the way to go.
GOOD BETS...
