Fish Sniffer Rogue Jet 21’ Coastal
Iam looking forward to the cool fall weather and the many fishing opportunities here in Northern California. As I write this, I am about to load the Fish Sniffer Rogue Jet 21’ Coastal with my heavier rods to go the trout season opener at Pyramid Lake, Nevada.
Pyramid Lake is famous for huge Lahontan Cutthroat trout to over 20 pounds. Everyone thinks there will be a 30 pounder landed this year. Pyramid Lake is also famous for it’ s big winds and rough water. The Rogue Jet Coastal 21 is perfect for this big water fishing.
The Coastal has a high bow, 36-inch sides and a rigid frame top with side curtains behind the walk through windshield to keep the chop out and the occupants dry and safe. The aerated livewell built into the stern is 56 inches wide – big enough to hold the largest trout and salmon I ever expect to catch! outboard, which is proven to run cleaner, use less fuel and require much less maintenance than a four stroke outboard. Alongside the big motor on the offshore bracket sits the 15 hp Evinrude ETEC kicker motor. This motor is the easiest starting kicker I have ever used. It doesn’ t matter if I am at six thousand feet or sea level; it always instantly fires up at the touch of the starter button.
The Fish Sniffer Rogue Jet is loaded with these fishing tools to help us find a 20 pound Lahontan cutthroat: Lowrance HDS 9 GPS / fishfinder, Lowrance VHF radio, Canon Mag 10 electric downriggers and the Minn Kota CoPilot electric trolling motor.
