The Happy Hooker is one of the most prominent charter boats in

Cal Kellogg will be aboard the Happy Hooker on April 14. S. F. Bay halibut and stripers will be the target for the day and some quality fish will be hitting the deck!
This is going to be the Fish Sniffer’ s first official halibut trip of the 2018 season and Captain Chris is a legend when it comes to putting anglers on big fish in S. F. Bay!
Since this trip is an official Cal Kellogg School of Fishing event. There will be plenty of prizes to go around from Cal’ s long list of sponsors, including, Penn, Fenwick and Abu Garcia.

Bay Area coastal waters and the California Delta intimately.
During the spring, live bait potluck fishing in San Francisco Bay is the focus aboard the Hooker, with halibut and stripers being the primary target. As spring gives way to summer, stripers and halibut remain in the cross hairs, yet the fishing menu opens up a bit with rockfish and lingcod entering into the mix.
The Happy Hooker operates out of the Berkeley Marina from early spring through December. During the winter months, it’ s off to the Martinez Marina for lazy days of sturgeon fishing.
