GOLDEN GATE KINGS… Red hot salmon fishing continues and early limits are the rule. Fish that weigh up to 33 lbs. are grabbing rigged anchovies. 3. PILLAR POINT ROCKFISH… Anglers working both north and south of Half Moon Bay are scoring limits of rockfish. Shrimp flies tipped with squid or Gulp! draw the strikes. 4. AMADOR BASS… Nocturnal bass anglers are scoring largemouth bass up to 5 lbs. Large Power Worms in dark colors, black spinnerbaits and surface poppers are the best offerings. GOOD BETS... 5. BODEGA ROCKFISH… Heavy limits of rockfish and plenty of bonus lings are rewarding Sonoma anglers. Shrimp flies, swimbaits and jigs all produce results. IT ALL ADDS UP 6. DON PEDRO COMBOS… Fat ‘kokes that range up to 14 inches and rainbows to 20 inches are being caught. Uncle Larry’s Spinners teamed with dodgers tempt the sockeyes, while Speedy Shiners fool rainbows. TO MORE FISH IN THE BOAT. 7. TRUCKEE RIVER TROUT… Dry fly and nymph action is in full swing. The last three hours of daylight is the time to go dry with Elk Hair Caddis and Yellow Parachutes for ‘bows and browns to 16 inches. 8. CLEAR LAKE BASS… Bass to 9 lbs. are being battled. Early morning anglers are scoring with topwaters, while night anglers toss big worms and various creature baits. SLEEPERS... 9. MONTEREY ROCKFISH… Rockfish and lingcod action has been steady for central coast anglers. Shrimp flies, metal butterfly jigs and soft plastics teamed with jigheads are all working well. 10. WHISKYTOWN KOKANEE … Sockeyes in the 16 to 18 inch class are on a strong bite. Apex Lures and Wiggle Hoochies teamed with Sling Blades are producing limits. 11.
