Grace Naves caught this awesome 16 inch late season kokanee at Stampede Reservoir while fishing with her dad, Fish Sniffer field editor, Jack Naves. As of press time the Norcal kokanee season was just about over. It was an epic kokanee season this year with big fish coming out of several reservoirs including Whiskeytown, Bullards Bar and Stampede. Kokanee fishing will kick back into gear in the spring. Until then coldwater anglers will have to occupy their time with trout fishing.
