Wide Open Crab & Rockfish Fishing Excites
Late Season Anglers
BERKELEY - After a spring and summer season that
featured outstanding halibut and salmon action the days are
now getting shorter, the season is winding down and charter
boats have taken to targeting crabs, rockfish and lingcod.

numbers of huge crabs being rounded up daily.

crabs and rockfish for 34 anglers. The weather was
outstanding today. We saw some very large rockfish and
a solid showing of lings,” reported Happy Hooker Skipper

Captain Quang Vo is also putting his clients on lights

rocks before pulling up limits of crabs on the way back
to Berkeley.

the commercial crab season on hold, we are filling up
quickly.”
“I will be out with Rick and Captain Joel Sinkay
next Wednesday, and being around a Sinkay always
