DOBBINS – If you want to catch limits of tasty kokanee on a lake without a lot of fishing pressure, Bullards Bar 3905 Reservoir is a top-notch prospect at this time. Rob Reimers of Rustic Rob’s Guide Service reported excellent kokanee fishing during his latest venture to the reservoir. “The three of us limited out on kokanee salmon in the 10-1/2 to 12 inch range,” said Reimers. “Most of the fish were at 60 feet deep, but we fished down to 70 feet. We used the Brad’s Kokanee Cut Plugs in the Gold Diver Down, Lady Em and Pink Magic colores.” Bullards Bar is holding 626,129 acre feet of water, 65 percent of capacity and 109 percent of average. Fishing reports from Englebright Reservoir remain scarce. Anglers interested in hooking rainbow and brown trout should troll Rapalas, Speedy Shiners or nightcrawlers in the river arm. Englebright Reservoir is holding 66,008 acre feet of water, 94 percent of capacity and 103 percent of average.
