Michael Kelly got in on the early halibut season action on the SF Bay while fishing with Captain Michael Rescino of the Lovely Martha . The Lovely Martha is currently trolling for halibut but once live bait becomes available later in the season then they will start drifting for them . Halibut season is a favorite for local Northern California anglers and also attracts anglers from around the country because fishing can be amazing on the SF Bay .
