MONTEREY BAY … Limits of rockfish
2 . and some lingcod are being caught in the shallow water reefs along the Monterey and San Cruz County coastline . Shrimp flies , bars , jigs and cut baits are all doing the trick .
FOLSOM LAKE .… Mixed limits of king
3 . salmon and rainbow trout are being taken on Folsom Lake . Trolling at 15-30 ft . with Speedy Shiners and Speed Spoons is your best bet for landing some nice fish .

4 . catching rainbows , kings , bass and even crappie . Anglers are having success using topwater baits for bass and trollers and landing rainbows and kings .

7 . for the season was 500 lbs . on May 24th . Fishing should remain good for both bank anglers and trollers .
LAKE CAMANCHE … Big trout to 3
8 . ½ pounds are being caught at Lake Camanche . Trolling spoons in the 25-35 ft . range has been very productive .
SLEEPERS …
PYRAMID LAKE … Anglers are putting
9 . up good numbers of Lahontan Cutthroat . Trollers are having success while fishing 20 ’ - 50 ’ deep but the bigger fish are being caught at 50 ’ -90’ deep .
HALF MOON BAY … Anglers are
10 . catching limits of rockfish while fishing shallow water with light tackle . Cabezon , browns , canaries , vermilions and lingcod are in the mix
CENTRAL COAST SURF … Striped
11 . bass are consistently being fooled by anglers using jerkbaits on the beaches of the Central Coast . Surfperch fishing is also really good right now for anglers using Carolina rigs with a crappie slider .
COLLINS LAKE … The bass bite
12 . is improving because the fish are moving up to spawn and can be found on beds . Lightning and rainbow trout are still being caught by bank anglers and trollers .
