HOT BITES...
1.
PARDEE TROUT… Trouters are doing well at
Lake Pardee. Trollers are pulling plastic grubs,
while bank anglers report good results on both
PowerBait and inflated worms.
2.
PYRAMID CUTTHROATS… Fly anglers
and jig casters are hooking double digit trout.
Purple and olive Woolly Buggers and hair jigs are
hooking fish, but spoons work too.
3.
SAN PABLO COMBOS… Anglers soaking
bait in San Pablo Bay are scoring both keeper
stripers and sturgeon. Mud, grass and ghost shrimp
all work.
4.
BERRYESSA BASS… Bassers are hooking
up to 20 fish per day while working the main
body. Toss Senkos and worms for bass that
average 2 lbs.
GOOD BETS…

SHADOW CLIFFS ‘BOWS… Shore anglers
are smacking limits of rainbows while fishing
near the boat ramp. PowerBait and Power Eggs
have been the top offerings.

SANTA CRUZ PERCH… The surfperch bite is
on and anglers are landing a variety of different
species. Grass shrimp, pile worms and Gulp! baits
work well.

action remains good in the American. Fly
guys are tossing dark nymphs and egg imitations.
Conventional anglers rely on spoons, roe and
nightcrawlers.

CAMANCHE RAINBOWS… Trollers are
landing rainbows that run up to and beyond
8 lbs. Ex-Cel spoons, small Rapalas and Berkley
Power Grubs tempt strikes.
SLEEPERS…
9.
TAHOE MACKS… Limits of mackinaw ranging
up to 10 lbs are the rule. To hook them work
deep water structure with rigged minnows and
spoons.

UMPQUA STEELHEAD… Steelhead are
pushing up the river. Drift boaters are nailing
wild fish on drifted roe and back trolled plugs.
11.
HALF MOON SANDDABS… Private
boaters working deep water flats are
hooking plenty of sanddabs. All you need to hook up
is a ‘dab rig baited with squid strips.

is decent at Shasta for fish to 3 pounds.
Boaters are hooking fish on spoons, minnow plugs
