halibut caught trolling near the
Cement Ship,” said Todd Fraser
of Bayside Marine in Santa Cruz.
“The big sanddabs and sole are
being caught in 300 feet of water.
There have been a few incidental
salmon caught by anglers fishing
for sanddabs on the east side of
the Soquel Hole.”

bite near Rio del Mar.” Anglers
