Now, a few more anglers are realizing that the year-round waters are worth the trip, and just require a few more clothing layers and some cold-weather gear. Quiet and uncrowded, Bishop is the place to be. The highlight of the year-round season is Bishop’s annual Blake Jones Trout Derby that took place this year on March 16.
