Trollers are pulling spoons for rainbows and browns to 6 lbs. 3. DELTA STRIPERS… Spring striper fishing is underway and solid numbers of fish to 22 lbs. are being hooked. Trollers are pulling Yo-Zuris, bait anglers rely on chicken livers, sardines and shad. 4. BERRYESSA BASS… Bassers are nailing 10 to 25 fish per day while working the main body. Toss Senkos and worms for bass ranging up to and beyond 6 lbs. GOOD BETS… 5. SAN PABLO BAY BASS… The striper bite is going well for fish to 9 lbs. Bait drifters are hooking up with shiner perch, while trollers work small soft plastic swimbaits and Rat-L-Traps. IT ALL ADDS UP 6. HALSEY FOREBAY TROUT… This Placer County pond is producing limits of rainbows. Gulp! Eggs, PowerBait and salmon eggs are all getting hit. TO MORE FISH IN THE BOAT. 7. TAHOE MIXED BAG… Topline trollers working around Tahoe’s shoreline are hooking browns, rainbows and mackinaw. Rapalas and Lymans are doing the damage. 10. CAMANCHE BASS… Bass anglers are hooking 5 to 15 bass per day on soft plastics and jigs. There are some big fish available, with top bass of 15 lbs. landed recently. 11. MONTEREY ROCKFISH… The rockfish season is now open and anglers are scoring limits. Shrimp flies and soft plastic swimbaits are the tools of the trade.
