Bay for a couple months, but only recently have really large fish started showing up. This 30 plus pound monster hit the deck of the Pacific Dream during a recent Cal Kellogg School of Fishing adventure. When the big fish hit, the boat was making a drift on the San Francisco Waterfront in about 30 feet of water. As of press time, live bait potluck anglers plying Bay waters have been catching big numbers of halibut and striped bass while drifting live bait in Central Bay hotspots such as Alcatraz, Angel Island and the area offshore of the St. Francis Yacht Harbor.
