Limit-style salmon trolling has erupted beyond the
Golden Gate. Rigged anchovies are the bait of choice for
both charter boaters and private boaters.

COLLINS LAKE ‘BOWS
Big numbers of rainbows are on the prowl. Bank
anglers are using worms and PowerBait. Trollers work

ROGUE SPRINGERS
The Rogue River is booting out solid numbers
of spring kings. Spinners and rigged bait are both
producing fish from anchored boats.

PYRAMID TROUT
Fly anglers are hooking cutthroats that range up
to the 15 lb. mark. Purple and olive Woolly Buggers are
scoring well, as are beetle imitations.

BERRYESSA BASS
Bassers are nailing 10 to 20 fish per day while
working the main body. Work with Senkos and jigs for
bass that weight up to and beyond 4 lbs.

HALFMOON ROCKFISH
Anglers departing from Pillar Point are nailing easy
limits of quality rockfish. Shrimp flies tipped with Gulp!

CAMANCHE BASS… Largemouth bass are
cruising the top 30 feet at Camanche. Bass anglers
are hooking bass to 6 lbs on soft plastics, jigs and
crankbaits.

TAHOE MACKS… Mackinaw ranging to 7 lbs.
are being landed by trollers. Minnows teamed
with flashers have been working best when trolled
from 100 to 225 feet deep.

BODEGA KINGS… Consistent salmon action is
now taking place offshore of Bodega Bay. Both
private boaters and charter boat enthusiasts are trolling
up fish to 17 lbs.

SUISUN BAY STURGEON… The sturgeon bite
has been fairly consistent in both shallow and
deep water. Eel has been the best bait, but roe works
too.
