on September 28.
“There were some
nice rockfish and
halibut caught up the
coast and a few white
seabass caught down
the coast. There were
some bluefin tuna
spotted off the Point in
Monterey, but
I did not hear
of anyone
catching
any.”

While rockfish have been
the focus for most anglers
fishing out of Half Moon
Bay, there are still some
salmon to be had. This
dandy king was landed
aboard the Huli Cat on
September 17.

About the Duckworth
Advantage
Sport
Just
when you
thought you’ve seen it all, Duckworth
unveils its newest advancement: the 18’
Advantage Sport. While the price might
convey “entry-level,” the standard
features and fuel-efficient performance
says “professional” from bow to stern.
Perfect for seasoned fishermen and
families alike, the Advantage Sport
brings abundant storage, full top
protection, a spacious cockpit and wide
open rear fishing deck to the party. It
also features premium pedestal seats,
convenient walk-thru windshield
layout, and a large bow with combina-
tion anchor locker or fish box. Reliable
and capable for the long haul, there
are few places the Advantage Sport
can’t take you. If you’ve dreamed of
owning a Duckworth, you
owe it to yourself to step
aboard this sportfishing
gamechanger.
Everything is
in reach in the
Advantages cockpit.
Full-featured instru-
ment panel includes
fuel gauge, USB port,
lighted switches and ample room for
accessories.
The amount of storage the boat
features is astounding. Every place
there can be storage, there
is storage. For an
18-footer, the
Advantage storage
space competes
with 20-footers.
