Covid-19 Pandemic & The Fish Sniffer
H
ello Fish Sniffers,
Cal Kellogg here.
We’ve been told for a
long time, that one day
a pandemic would reach
our shores, lives would be
lost, the economy would
be impacted and day to day
life would change drasti-
cally. That day has come!
As of press time Governor
Newsom had issued a stay
at home order for Califor-
nians. On the fishing front,
most waters are off limits at
this time and we are being
told to shelve our passion
for the health and safety of
the many.
Here at the Fish Sniffer we are
committed to delivering both
fishing information and fishing
entertainment.
Having said that, we are
experiencing supply chain
disruptions that MAY result in
interruptions in our printing
schedule. In short, the raw
martials that go into producing
our publication are in short
supply and we may be forced to
ration our resources.
Should it become necessary to
alter the printing schedule, rest
assure that you as a subscriber
have my word that any and all
missed issues will be attached to
the end of your subscription plus
a few extra to make up for the
inconvenience.
For now, stay safe, follow
directives from our state
officials and we’ll all get
through these difficult times
together. Thanks for all your
support and enthusiasm for
both the sport of fishing in
general and the Fish Sniffer
Magazine specifically.

“When I am fishing a frog or flipping matted
vegetation, I am throwing the new X-TCB 8 Car-
rier Braided Line form P-Line. It is critical to be
stealthy with both techniques, and with P-line’s
new braid, you can make longer casts and it is
ultra quiet coming through the grass.”
