FISHERMAN’S WHARF
Trollers Nail Chinook Limits
Outside Golden Gate
SAN FRANCISCO - Salmon fishing
remains great for anglers venturing
outside of the Golden Gate.
“Fishing is off the hook, boys and
girls,” reported Jacky Douglas,
Captain of the Wacky Jacky on
Facebook, after a recent trolling
adventure. “We had limits today and
nice quality fish while trolling with
anchovies.”
Wacky Jacky Sport Fishing has
been taking people fishing from
San Francisco for decades. The
boat specializes in salmon fishing.
However, “we will go after anything
that’s fun to catch including: halibut,
striped bass, rockfish,, lingcod and
sturgeon,” she said.
Douglas was inducted in the
California Outdoor Hall of Fame
by Tom Stienstra, San Francisco
columnist, on January 12, 2013.
